STL-ODN is a not-for-profit, member-run organization. We survive and thrive on the dedication of our volunteers!
Get Involved . . .
Most STL-ODN programs and events are provided to members by members who generously contribute their expertise, time and resources. You influence the degree to which the STL-ODN grows and develops to meet your needs. Volunteers can contribute in a variety of ways: on an event-by-event basis (as a coordinator, facilitator or speaker), by serving on an initiative or committee, or in a leadership position as a Board member. Volunteering brings a number of benefits including: growing your professional network, enhancing your visibility within the local OD community, building your leadership experience, having an opportunity to give back to the professional community, and leaving a lasting mpact by helping to shape the direction of the St Louis OD Network.
Please contact any Board Member if you woukd like more information about becoming involved.
What's In It For You. . .
The opportunity to:
- Help provide meaningful programs to the OD community.
- Build your network of OD professionals.
- Build closer relationships OD practitioners in your local OD community.
As with any organization, the more you contribute to the organization, the more you will get from your experience. We hope you thoughtfully consider a deeper role in our organization.
Speakers:
Would YOU like to present at one of our upcoming monthly meetings?
If you would like to participate in this year's program schedule, please send a proposal to our Programs Chair. Your presentation will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Is the topic of interest to a wide number of ODN members?
2. Is the proposed speaker a subject matter expert?
3. Is the speaker capable of delivering an informative, credible presentation in a way that involves the audience and captivates their attention?
If you could fill in on short notice (less than 24 hours) should a scheduled speaker cancel out at the last minute, that would be especially important to the committee.
Presentation proposals should include the topic, title and outline of the presentation, speaker biography, and previous speaking event references.
