Get Involved

STL-ODN is a not-for-profit, member-run organization. We survive and thrive on the dedication of our volunteers!

Most STL-ODN programs and services are provided to members by members who generously contribute their expertise, time and resources. You influence the degree to which the STL-ODN grows and develops to meet your needs. Volunteers can contribute in a variety of ways: on an event-by-event basis (as a coordinator, facilitator, or speaker), by serving on an initiative or committee, or in a leadership position as a Board member.

Volunteering brings a number of benefits including: growing your professional network, enhancing your visibility within the local OD community, building your leadership experience, taking the opportunity to give back to the professional community, and leaving a lasting impact by helping to shape the future of the St. Louis Organization Development Network.

  • Present at a Meeting

If you would like to present at one of our upcoming meetings, please send a proposal to our Programs Chair. Proposals should include the topic, title and outline of the presentation, speaker biography, and previous speaking engagement references. If you would be willing to fill in on short notice due to last-minute cancellation, please indicate that in the proposal as well.

Presentation proposals are evaluated on the following criteria:

  1. Is the topic of interest to a wide variety of STL-ODN members?
  2. Is the proposed speaker a subject matter expert?
  3. Is the speaker capable of delivering an informative, credible presentation in a way that involves the audience and captivates their attention?
