PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Favorite OD Tools

At this month’s program we are going to explore some of our member’s favorite OD Tools.  We will have three 20-minute rounds so you can sample some of the best tools STL-ODN members have to offer in just an hour!

Our members have been very generous.  So far the table top exercise will include:

An Experiential Introduction to LEGO® Serious Play® presented by Ellen P. Moran -Explore “thinking with your hands”. Better, faster, team problem-solving for business results.

Polarity Management ™ presented by Susan Duff – Polarity Management™ is a way of thinking by Barry Johnson, PhD.  The goal is to “increase your ability to distinguish between problems you can solve and those you cannot, and increase your ability to manage unsolvable problems.”

The Conflict IQ presented by Zach Schaefer - an assessment tool that organizations can use to assess and discuss both real and perceived differences in conflict management styles. This brief assessment is an excellent discussion springboard for organizations experiencing change.

Clarify My Needs presented by Patricia Garey – Clarify My Needs by coaching/consulting group Excellerant is a wonderful downloadable tool that helps groups and individuals determine what is most important to them.  Excellent team building resource.

Evaporation – Turning Complaints into Convictions presented by Greg Barrett – The way we think about the future matters. By turning complaints into convictions we can open up possibility space and design better solutions.
