PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

We Took the Survey, Now What?  Using Data to Engage Your Workforce

Presenter:

Zachary Schaefer, Ph.D.

As OD practitioners, many of us have designed and administered engagement surveys, analyzed the data, but then had that feeling of “Now what?”  While we know that engaging people is an ongoing process and not a single event, how do we teach leaders to effectively engage their teams on a daily basis, and what role can data play in this process?

This session will address these questions, and enable you to:

  • Learn and practice communication tactics to use with leaders and managers to create daily engagement.
  • Examine the relationship between engagement, performance and workplace relationships.
  • Learn how to incorporate data into daily engagement and performance management discussions—particularly when handling difficult or frustrating conversations.
  • The session will be engaging and interactive, so come prepared to share your best practices for helping people in your organization experience daily engagement, and your thoughts on the role that data can (and should) play in those discussions and activities.
